What To Expect

1. Free Assessment

This is a 20-30 minute appointment with our Treatment Coordinator to discuss your treatment options. Our TCO will assess your smile, explain the different types of braces we offer along with the finance plans available for these. If you wish to explore the options further, you can then book a full consultation.

2. Full Consultation

If you'd like a full consultation with our Specialist Orthodontist for treatment planning, we offer a £100 consultation (deducted from treatment cost). This includes two appointments: one for comprehensive records (photos, radiograph, 3D scan) and another to discuss your personalized treatment plan and finance options.

3. Start Treatment

Once you've decided on fixed braces or aligners, we'll book your fitting as soon as possible.

Cost of Orthodontic Treatment

If you want to get a general idea of the cost of treatment, here are some guidelines:

Metal braces - single arch from £2000 and from £2800 for both arches
Ceramic braces - single arch from £2400 and from £3200 for both arches
Lingual braces from £3,200
Aligners single arch from £3400 and dual arch from £3950
Self funded from £1900 for both arches

David Tinsley

David qualified as a dentist in 1990 at Kings in London. In 1993, he obtained his first Masters degree from Dundee in restorative dentistry. He then spent several years at Leeds Dental Institute as a lecturer.

David obtained his Fellowship in 2000, his second Masters in 2002 and qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

Having worked at the Orthodontic Centre for over 20 years they are excited to reattain ownership. David and Jon are also joint owners of a practice in Chesterfield.

Jon O’Dwyer

Jon qualified as a dentist in 1990 from Sheffield University. After a year as a House Officer at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, Jon spent six years in general practice in Doncaster and Sheffield.

Jon obtained his Fellowship in 1999, Masters in 2002 and qualified as a Specialist Orthodontist at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital and Chesterfield Royal Hospital.
